Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce

About the GNCC

The GNCC is always working to make Niagara the best place to live, work and own a business. We are the 2nd largest chamber of commerce in Ontario and the provincial and federal governments listen when we advocate for policies and programs that benefit the region economically and socially. We meet directly with government ministers and staff on issues important to Niagara as well as through our membership in the Ontario and Canadian Chambers of Commerce.

The GNCC also brings together a variety of knowledgeable people to give direction on issues facing businesswomen, or emerging business leaders and to support those who are struggling in our region through our three councils – Women in Niagara, Next Niagara and the Not-for-Profit councils. The government affairs committee works to identify and develop policies that will help Niagara achieve its economic and social best.

Testimonials

I am proud to be a member of the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce as the Chair of the Women in Niagara Council. Being supported by a Chamber that understands the challenges for women in business and works toward equity in our community has been a rewarding and very worthwhile experience for me. The staff are an invaluable resource for our council as we work to create opportunities for women to learn, grow and be celebrated.

The Chambers Benefit Plan gave Intuitive Shipping Inc. an affordable way to provide our team with medical and dental benefits. Jim and Jeremy Garrett are lovely to deal with, too! All around great product.

- Sharon Reeds, Co-Founder/CEO, Intuitive Shipping

The membership with Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce has been very beneficial to White Oaks Resort & Spa. The exposure to our Niagara community of businesses through marketing opportunities, and networking events has led to great partnerships for our property. We have been honored to be chosen as the venue for the annual Niagara Economic Summit which brings key businesses influencers into our property to discuss our region’s future. The educational and networking opportunities with GNCC are extensive and relevant to our business. We have been able to provide our team members with professional growth opportunities as well. Overall our membership with Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce remains one of our most important and fruitful strategies for doing business in Niagara Region.
